This is such a lovely little quilt I am pleased with it mainly because I love the fabric, I used strips of Elizabeth Studios 'By the sea' and the Kona strips as well as some blue homespun. The back of the quilt is yellow homespun and a matching fabric from the 'by the sea' line.
I found some lovely fabric with sandy type of back colour and little sea going flags so I used that for the binding.
I always fold the binding so it is nice and strong and handsew into place.
The fabric is so cute with the little people at the beach.
