New L Design Quilt

This is a new block i have not tried before. I am having such fun with Charm Packs I purchased two and have had a ball with them. Bit by bit I am picking up more quilting tricks. My continuous quilting seems to be the hardest to master but I keep thinking that practice will improve it overall. I cut the charm squares in half, then joined them with 5"x 2 1/2" white pieces. then put four together in an L shape, I had to trim them to fit. I will do a tutorial later with this pattern.

I am so pleased with this little quilt - I suppose it is cot size. I love the piecing and hand sewing the binding. I have only just realised that it is a good idea to buy homespun and mix and match it with the gorgeous fabrics.
