Oh I forgot to mention that I put a little of the patchwork on the back of my little green elephant quilt, instead of patching it in I raw edge appliqued it and it worked out ok and I think it looks ok.
I suppose it was being a little lazy in a way but I really am still in the trying out things with my quilting.
